Description
This recipe is truly delightful and perfect for a summer BBQ.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh blue cultured mussels
- 4 oregano springs
- 4 cilantro springs
- 1⁄2 jalapeno
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 2 limes
Instructions
1. Rise fresh blue cultured mussels in tap water.
2. Place the oregano, cilantro and jalapeno on a sheet of foil.
3. Top with one pound of washed blue mussels.
4. Scatter butter and sliced garlic cloves over the mussels.
5. Drizzle the juice from the limes. Add the squeezed limes into the pack as well.
6. Fold up the foil, leaving room for the mussels to open.
7. Grill on high heat for 5-7 minutes. Eat the mussels that have opened up, discarding any that do not open.
Notes
Make sure to have a nice loaf of fresh bread sopping up the yummy juices!
