Rules for the Food Network contest
Eligibility
Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada ONLY (excluding residents from Quebec), who have reached the age of majority at time of entry. Correct answer to a mathematical skill testing questions required. No purchase is necessary.
Entries
Entries can be submitted to www.discovermussels.com. Odds of being selected depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the Contest closing date. Limit (1) entry per person. The prize winner will be selected via a random draw of entrants.
Prize
One (1) Grand Prize is available to be won, consisting of a trip for two (2) people to Prince Edward Island, Canada, including: Six (6) nights’ Accommodations in downtown Charlottetown, Flight for two (2) from inside Canada, Car Rental for seven (7) days, A PEI Mussel farm tour, Two (2) tickets to the PEI Shellfish Festival, the largest kitchen party in Canada, A PEI flavours trail culinary experience, A culinary boot camp lesson and luncheon at the Culinary Institute of Canada, A Charlottetown Harbour Hippo Water Tour, A Walking Tour around historic downtown Charlottetown, A Cows Factory Tour and Souvenir t-shirts, A Wine and vineyard tour at Rossignol Winery, A tour of the Myraid View PEI Moonshine facility in Rollo Bay and A tour of the Prince Edward Potato Vodka distillery in Souris.
Any expenses occurred outside the parameters of the prize package are the responsibility of the prize recipients. The prize package is to be accepted as is – no substitutions, Travel will occur on 09/12/12-09/18/12.
Deadline
All entries must be received online by 04/30/12 at 11:59PM AST. Draw date will be 05/01/12 at 11:59AM AST. Winner will be notified within 15 days of the contest closing.
Privacy
By entering this contest, each entrant consents to the Mussel Industry Council and its employees storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his or her entry only for the purposes of administrating the contest and in accordance with the Freedom of Information protection of Privacy Act R.S.P.E.I 1988, Cap. F-15.01. The Mussel Industry Council and its employees will not otherwise sell or disclose any entrant’s personal information.
